CerQlar Collaborates with Grexel to Enhance Energy Attribute Certificates Platform

April 20, 2023 – Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam-based CerQlar has announced its collaboration with Grexel to integrate the CerQlar platform with Grexel’s G-REX registry. G-REX, which is API-enabled, will provide CerQlar’s users with enhanced security and reliability. This move marks a significant step in CerQlar’s mission to create a new technology standard that will enable the EAC market to keep up with ever-more-complex customer demands and countries’ renewable energy goals.

G-REX is a registry that allows users to record and track assets and transactions. With G-REX, users can securely store data, transfer assets, and verify ownership in a transparent and immutable way. By integrating with G-REX, CerQlar will be able to offer its users a more secure and reliable experience, bringing the company closer to its goal of setting new technology standards in the energy attribute certificate markets.

We are excited to collaborate with Grexel to strengthen our platform and provide our users with the best-in-class solution for all of their inventories across different registries,” says Martin Edling Andersson, Head of Product Management at CerQlar. “At CerQlar, we are committed to enabling further adoption of renewable energy by providing much-needed technological infrastructure to support increasingly complex trades and growing volumes of renewable energy certificates. Our integration with G-REX is a great example of how we can work together to achieve this goal.”

“Integration with CerQlar is possible mainly due to our API-first design, which allows easy integration with the G-REX registry for GO trading companies and service providers. We’re excited to be a part of bringing new and modern solutions to cater the needs of the growing energy certificate market.”, says Markus Klimscheffskij, CEO of Grexel.
